There is no place like a temple! Those of us who understand the eternal blessings that come from a temple know that it exalts us, uplifts us, and points us to God’s glory. A chance to partake in the consecration ceremony of a temple is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and opportunity, especially living outside of India. Our scriptures proclaim:
“The ceremony will fetch peace and happiness to all the people who dwell in that area, and who participate in the celebrations.”
Therefore, do not miss this exceptional blessing of participating in these poojas:
Shree Radha Krishna murthis are consecrated and are infused with the breath of life.
The deities of Shree Radha Krishna are bathed in sanctified water from ceremonially made kalashās (copper pots covered with coconuts and mango leaves,) and decorated with fragrant flowers.
Pour offerings and libations into the fire-altar, while chanting mantras and singing hymns.
Kumbha means shikar or the crown of the temple. On the appointed day, at the auspicious time, the kumbha is bathed with the sanctified holy waters from the sanctified kalashās.
