The Janmashtami Mahotsav is one of the most memorable and blissful of all festivals celebrated with great devotion and sheer joy. The festival of Janmashtami, which is the birthday of Lord Krishna, is one of the most important celebrations, which make devotees remember and meditate on the beautiful and heart-warming Leela’s or pastimes of the supreme Lord Krishna!
At the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas, situated in Allen, Texas, the Janmashtami Mahotsav will be held from August 24th to August 27th, 2024.
The highlights of the Janmashtami Mahotsav are: Soul-stirring kirtans, Fancy dress, Krishna Janam,Lord Krishna Abhishek, Satsang and celebration with Swamiji, Leelas, Dahi Handi

Dahi Handi is a fun-filled activity that is arranged on the day of Janmashtami or the day which comes
after Janmashtami. In this activity, young boys and men come together and climb on one another to
build a tower out of themselves to go up to the pot filled with thick Dahi (curd) and break the pot.
Once done, the people watching the fun, start dancing to music with glee and bliss.
