Holi

A colorful and dynamic festival, the annual celebration of Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, is celebrated in India and throughout the world. Revelers cover each other in colored powder to celebrate the beginning of spring. Holi is one of the most ancient festivals that  has been celebrated for thousands of years!  The ritual of coloring one another in shades of green, pink, yellow, purple, blue and red is a tradition that young and old, alike look forward to, year after year!

Not only is this custom followed for enjoyment and merry making, it also touches on deeper themes. It is a time of the year, when each one of us has the opportunity to actually become  a canvas and surrender to the colors around us. As our faces, arms, legs, hair, clothes, all submerge in strata of colors, layers and layers of disparities and differences deep inside us begin to disappear and we experience oneness with everyone around us! Colors may come off, but memories from the event will last a life time!

With color play in 100% organic colors,  cultural programs, DJ, dance, games for kids, food bazaar and much more, Radha Krishna Temple’s 3rd Holi Festival of Colors, is going to be one of a kind. At less than 2 weeks to go for the event, registrations are growing by the minute! Hurry and register now! Don’t miss the chance to be part of this wonderful celebration!
