Govatsa Dwadashi pooja is a unique festival dedicated to the worship of cows as an expression of gratitude for maintaining human life. In such a pooja, cows and calves are worshipped by putting a vermilion tilak on the forehead and adorning them with elegant fabric and a garland of flowers. They are also fed with nourishing food and an Aarti is performed as a mark of reverence. These rituals are a symbolic representation of cows as a form of Kamadhenu – the one who fulfills the wishes of the owner. However, for devotees on the path of Bhakti or devotion, the significance is associated with Shree Krishna’s or Gopal’s love for the cows and calves.

Festival of Health and Prosperity
Dhan Trayodashi, also known as Dhanteras is an auspicious day of celebration of the five-day long festival of Deepawali. Dhan means wealth and Teras signify the thirteenth day. The festival of Dhanteras falls on the thirteenth day of Kartika (Oct. or Nov.) It falls two days before Diwali. Dhanteras signifies wealth and prosperity. On this day people worship goddess Mahalakshmi for a prosperous life and well being of their families. Lord Dhanwantari is also worshipped on this day for a good health.He is considered the physician of Gods and the discoverer of Ayurveda. Lord Dhanvantri appeared while the primeval ocean was being churned. He brought with him the knowledge of long life, health, and medicine. Lord Dhanvantari destroys negativity and blesses his devotees with good health. He is also known by the name Sudhapani, since he appeared with the pot of Nectar in his hands. The day of his appearance is celebrated on the thirteenth day or 'trayodasi' when the moon is in its waxing phase. This day is celebrated every year, a few days before Diwali/Deepavali (the festival of lights). Lord Dhanvantari bestows good health to devotees. He is manifested with pot of Nectar in his hand, which is the symbol of longitivity.

Diwali and Lakshmi Puja marks the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya along with Mata Sita, and Lakshman after defeating Ravana. On this day, people decorate their homes and perform Lakshmi and Ganesh puja in the evening.

Symbolically, the lighting of diyas represents the removal of the inner darkness of ignorance. It is an opportunity for self-reflection through prayer, allowing devotees to contemplate their actions, thoughts, and desires, seeking to align their will with the will of God.

Govardhan Pooja, also known as Annakut or Annakoot, is a Hindu festival celebrated on the first lunar day of the bright fortnight of the month of Kartika, on the fourth day of Diwali.

Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill on his finger to protect the people of Vrindavan from torrential rains. This act of devotion and protection underscores the hill's significance, making it a focal point of pilgrimage for devotees seeking blessings and spiritual rejuvenation. Govardhan Parikrama typically covers a distance of 21 km.The parikrama (circumambulation) path winds through villages, forests, temples, and sacred sites associated with Lord Krishna's pastimes and devotees’ legends. The route is divided into different segments, each marked by significant landmarks.
