FAQs

Yes, you can change during re-enrollment. There are 3 classes open for registration now and you may choose any class that better suits your schedule. All three classes are aligned to the four pillars of RKT Youth Club and have the same objectives. Each class is conducted by the following instructors:

  • Friday 6:30-8:00 PM: Payal Roy
  • Saturday 2:30-4:00 PM: Madhan Thirukonda
  • Sunday 10:30-12:00 PM: Ajay Arora

Once the student joins a class, we do not encourage a change to avoid disruption for the program and to ensure continuity for the student. Please feel free to call one of the above instructors if you have any questions.

No, the RKT Youth Club for 2024-25 is not a repeat of the current year's program. RKT Youth Club is a multi-year program designed to cater to your children's evolving needs, providing them with continuous growth and development opportunities.  The curriculum is progressive and has enough variety that it won’t be boring for students.

New students may join during enrollment windows, and they can continue with existing students. If a handful of topics must be repeated, that would be an opportunity to revise and apply in real life. The instructors focus on applying the concepts rather than pure theory, and the students tend to learn more when repetition occurs.

Students benefit from attending RKT Youth Club and RKT Toastmasters Junior Gavel Club, depending on where they want to focus on development.

RKT Youth Club is a holistic program for well-rounded development. Leadership and Communication are one of the four pillars. Students receive coaching on presentation skills and are able to make presentations. More information is here

Junior Gavel Club follows the Toastmaster's structure and focuses on presentation skills at the core. More info is here

We have some students who join both sessions and enjoy learning from both. It all depends on the student’s goal/interest and schedule.

We monitor students’ attendance, engagement including presentations, participation in volunteering activities, and general attitude to learning. We recognize such students at the end of every term (Fall and Spring). We will also hold parent conferences to share student’s progress.

The registration fee is not refundable. Parents are encouraged to attend the orientation session to understand the program details and talk to the instructors before enrolling. However, if unavoidable reasons arise, such as schedule conflicts, please contact our enrollment coordinator for options.
