How to Experience DYF

You can have the best experience at this amazing Dallas Yoga Fest by keeping these simple but important things in mind:

  • Arrive Early: Since parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis, arriving early ensures you get a good spot and allows you to attend the opening and all sessions especially on Saturday (June 22) without rushing.
  • Wear Comfortable Clothing: Dress comfortably in yoga attire suitable for indoor and outdoor yoga sessions (on June 22nd and 23rd). Layers are a good idea to adapt to changing weather conditions or temperature changes inside and outside the buildings.
  • Comfortable Footwear: Wear comfortable shoes that are easy to slip on and off as you move between indoor and outdoor events from one room to another in the same building. Some buildings require you to leave your shoes outside. You can keep them in the shoe room across from the main entrance.
  • Bring a Yoga Mat: Feel free to bring your yoga mat to ensure you start sessions on time. In case you forget, no worries, mats will be available for sale!
  • Stay Hydrated: Bring a reusable water bottle to keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. Water stations will be available to refill your water bottle.
  • Plan Your Schedule: Register on the event website ahead of time, review the schedule, and plan which sessions, talks, and activities you want to attend to make the most of your time. Different days have different start and end times. Make sure you check each day’s schedule to plan your day well.
